Jasmina lived for many years between Europe and the United States, and is currently based between Slovenia, Italy, and Finland, where she is pursuing a PhD on the impacts of universal basic income. For many years, she has worked as a feminist journalist, writer, and editor for various media outlets, cultural collectives, and NGOs. In 2024, she published her first book, a popular-science work on environmental activism in Slovenia’s Soča Valley, praised as “one of the best works of Slovenian non-fiction in recent decades.” Jasmina has traveled extensively, yet she has rarely encountered alternative and feminist scenes as persistently vibrant as those in Ljubljana.
